Our enhanced late fee calculator makes calculating late fees for multiple leases a breeze! The new late fee calculator is located within the Money In tab of the applicationand and provides you and your team a systematized method of taking charge of your rent delinquencies. The Late Fee Calculator flags all past due tenant charges by portfolio or building and automatically estimates late fees associated with these unpaid charges. At your option, these estimated late fees may be modified or applied as actual late fee charges to appear on a lease's tenant ledger. Propertyware automatically calculates Estimated Late Fees based on the Late Fee Rule set on your leases. Estimated Late Fees will not display, but rather zero out, for leases that have not been assigned a Late Fee Rule. Whether a unique late fee rule is set on each individual lease or a global late fee rule is set on your lease form, a Late Fee Rule must be set before an Estimated Late Fee may be calculated.
