Maintenance Spending Limits
Maintenance and repair spending is a normal and expected cost of property ownership. Propertyware allows you to set aside a budget, whether monthly or annual, for maintenance and repair spending on each of your portfolios, buildings and units. When your management team exceeds the monthly or yearly spending limit on a property, an alert will display on all work orders created for that property.
Setting Maintenance Spending Limits
To set a spending limit on a select property, whether a portfolio, building or unit, follow these steps:
Click the Properties Tab from any page of the application.
Then, using the Property Navigator located on the left sidebar of the page, locate the portfolio, building or unit for which you would like to set a maintenance spending limit. You may use the View By filter to search and view your properties by a specific portfolio or building.
From the Property Navigator menu, select the appropriate portfolio, building or unit name. Once selected, the page to the right of the Property Navigator menu will refresh to display the detail page for your selected property.
Click the Edit button on the displayed detail page.
From the Maintenance Settings section, toggle the Maintenance Spending Limit menu from No Limit to either a Monthly or Yearly Limit. Then enter a spending limit Amount within the pop-up window.
Click the blue Save button.
