What is a Management Fee?
A Management Fee is a fee charged by a property management company in exchange for its management services, which may include rent collection, bill payment, maintenance, leasing, financial reporting and tenant relation services. Propertyware allows you to set a management fee on any income collected and recorded on a lease's tenant ledger, such as income from rent, late fees or bounced check fees. The versatility of Propertyware's management module allows you to set a management fee as either:
Greater of a flat fee or percentage, or
A flat fee plus percentage

If you charge a management fee for managing properties for others, you may utilize Propertyware's Management Tab to automate your management fee calculation and billing processes. The Management Tab will only appear if you have subscribed to the Premium Add-On Management Module. This module may only be added by your Propertyware Administrator from the Subscription Settings page of Propertyware's Administration Setup. |
