If you subscribe to Propertyware's Premium Add-On Marketing Module, then the Marketing Tab allows you to list your vacancies on your Propertyware Website and dynamically maintain these listings with a few simple clicks. This tab also allows you to showcase featured rentals as rotating images on your Propertyware Website homepage. Committed to optimizing your management efficiencies, the Marketing Tab makes it effortlessly easy for your leasing representative to control the content that appears on your Propertyware Website and search through property inventory when speaking to tenant prospects.

 

Posting your Rental Vacancies & Showcasing your Featured Rentals

All of your Portfolios, Buildings and Units will automatically display within the Units Table of the Marketing Tab. From this table, you may select and subsequently refresh your selection of those properties you wish to post as rental vacancies or featured rentals on your Propertyware Website. To post a rental vacancy or showcase a select property within the featured rental rotation of your Propertyware Website, simply utilize the following vertical checkbox columns displayed within the Units Table:

Published

To post a vacancy or even market a unit prior to its availability date on your Propertyware Website, simply select the appropriate checkbox within the first vertical column of the Units Table. This column may be identified by a green check icon, which when moused over, will read "Published."

  • To maintain your rental listing going forward, simply return to the Marketing Tab and modify your rental selections.

  • Use the All or None buttons at the bottom of the column to select or deselect all displayed units.

Featured

To showcase a rental within the featured rental rotation of your Propertyware Website, simply select the appropriate checkbox within the second vertical column of the Unit Table. This column may be identified by a house icon, which when moused over, will read "Featured."

  • Once a featured rental is selected, the image of the rentable unit will automatically post on the homepage of your Propertyware Website. An image will only post if previously uploaded to Propertyware. If multiple featured rentals are selected, your homepage will cycle through your featured rentals each time the page refreshes.

  • Use the All or None buttons at the bottom of the column to select or deselect all displayed units.

 

 

Navigating through the Marketing Tab

Displayed as a series of drop down menus, Propertyware's Search Filters will help you sort through your unit inventory categorically, by Property, Unit Type, Lease Status and Rental Availability Dates. In addition to Search Filters, you may navigate through the Marketing Tab by creating and toggling between personalized Saved Views, which are customized listings of any combination of portfolios, buildings and units. These Search Filters and Saved Views will facilitate your view of unit inventory and help you identify those properties to be posted as vacancies or showcased as featured rentals on your Propertyware Website.

 

Filter

Description

Property

Select to view your properties by a specific Portfolio or Building, all Portfolios or a customized Saved View. Once retrieved, your filtered search will display within the Unit Table below.

Unit Type

Select to view your properties by the Unit Type (i.e., 1 bedroom/1 bath).

Lease Status

 

Select to view your properties by any of the following lease status options:

  • All Status - All units, regardless of lease status

  • Vacant - All unoccupied units

  • Active - All units with a current active lease

  • Draft - All units with a current draft lease attached

  • Eviction - All units with tenants in eviction status

Available

Select to view units with an available vacancy date of:

  • Today - All dates on or before today

  • Next 30 Days - All dates included within the next 30 days, including all past dates

  • Next 60 Days - All dates included within the next 60 days, including all past dates

  • Next 90 Days - All dates included within the next 90 days, including all past dates

  • All - All dates, including those marked with no available date at all

 

When viewing a large number of properties within your unit inventory, you may use the Items Per Page options at the bottom of the Unit Table to expand your view to 15, 40, 75 or 100 Unit Items per page.

 

The Units Table

The Units Table displays key marketing information for your unit inventory, which may be filtered and searched using the Search Filters and Saved Views described above. From this inventory display, you may easily identify which properties to post as vacancies or showcase as featured rentals on your Propertyware Website. The following is a summary of the key marketing information displayed within the Units Table:

 

Field Name

Description

Published

Select the corresponding checkbox for the unit(s) you wish to publish to your Propertyware Website.

Featured

Select the corresponding checkbox for the unit(s) you wish to post as Featured Units on your Propertyware Website.

Property

The  Portfolio/Building/Unit location for the subject property. For detailed information on the subject property, click on the displayed links.

Size

The total area of the unit, either in square feet or square meters, as set in the Marketing Information section of the unit's Summary Page. To edit this value, click on the unit link within the table's Property column and then edit its Detail Page.

Target Rent

The target market rent for the unit, as set in the Marketing Information section of the unit's Detail Page. To edit this value, click on the unit link within the table's Property column and then edit its Detail Page.

Unit Type

The property's defined Unit Type, as set in the Unit Information section of the unit's Detail Page. To edit this value, click on the unit link within the table's Property column and then edit its Unit Detail Page.

Lease Status

The property's lease status, as defined in one of the following ways:

  • Vacant - Unoccupied unit

  • Active - Unit with a current active lease

  • Draft - Unit with a lease before the Move In Calculation

  • Eviction - All units with tenants in eviction status  

Available

The date the unit is available for rent, and if currently occupied, the date it will be available for turnover to a new tenant. This date is set in the Marketing Information section of the units Detail Page. To edit this date, click on the unit link within the table's Property column and then edit its Detail Page.

Action

A convenient interface with the Properties and Leases Tabs to provide users a convenient method of editing and leasing their units without having to navigate between the application's various tabs. From the drop down menu, select from the following actions:

  • Edit Building - Select to modify building information, whether a Multi-Unit Building or Rentable Building. Use this link to modify marketing information and upload property images to the building.

  • Edit Unit - Available if the property is contained within a Multi-Unit Building. Select to modify Unit information, including all marketing data and property images.

  • Lease Unit - Select to attach a new lease to a Unit or Rentable Building.
