Reports Overview
Why Use Reports?
Reports are summaries and analyses of your data, which you can display or print. To help you monitor your property management efforts, Propertyware offers a diverse selection of reports, all of which are accessible within the Reports Tab. Each report can be customized to cover different time periods; and you can include any number of portfolios, buildings or units within the report.
Note that the information available for you to view within reports is directly related to your level of access at both the user and profile levels (See: User Permissions and Profiles). In other words, if you have a portfolio or building restriction, that will limit the portfolios or buildings on which you can report. Similarly, if you only have access to part of the application, you will only be able to report on those sections of the application .
Propertyware's Reporting Module allows you to view the data you have entered and tracked within the application from a variety of perspectives. Once you view the data on your monitor, you can then deliver the reports via email, publish them to a URL, or Export them to either a Microsoft Excel file or into a separate HTML window. You can also schedule reports to be automatically generated and delivered to a person or group of people on a weekly or monthly schedule, so that you don't have to remember to run and/or deliver the report manually.
Report Categories
Propertyware's reporting module is divided into the following categories, which reflect the major types of data collected within the application:
Contact Reports, which report on data recorded in the Contacts tab.
Desktop Reports, which report on data collected on your Propertyware Desktop, including Task Lists and Documents.
Finance Reports, which report on data collected in the Money In and Money Out tabs, as well the Tenant Ledger, including Auto Charges and Management Fees.
Lease Reports, which report on data collected in the Leases tab, as well as any information attached to any lease.
Maintenance Reports, which report on data collected in the Maintenance tab, including Work Orders and Vendors.

Default and Custom Reports
Within each of these categories above, Propertyware has a series of Default Reports; any of these reports can be modified to suit your business needs. Propertyware also allows you to create custom reports as well and categorize them as well.
