Propertyware's search engine is a powerful tool that can help you navigate the application more quickly and efficiently. Whether you are looking for one particular data item, or even a list of occurrences, using the search tool can often times be quicker and easier than clicking through tabs to find what you're looking for. Search on one item, and you get a detailed and easy-to-read report listing all occurrences in the application. Results are categorized by the area of the application where they appear, including Leases, Contacts, Money In, Money Out and Work Orders. Additional useful information is displayed in columns to help you find exactly what you're looking for. The search tool can be accessed from anywhere in the application, and appears in the upper left corner of the sidebar.  

Searches are not case sensitive, and are treated as an exact phrase search.  A wildcard (*) is automatically appended to your search string.  If you can't find what you are searching for, try searching on just part of the phrase.
